What teachers say about us:

“Working at Key Language was a great experience.  Not only did I improve my skills as a teacher, I also established lifelong friendships with my fellow teachers.  The collegial atmosphere of Key Language promotes good teaching practice, as well as a cheerful camaraderie amongst the staff.” Griffin Loynes (USA)

“I was extremely lucky to be able to teach at Key for 11 months in 2004. The bosses were and still are, I'm sure, fantastic. Never too busy to help with any niggling questions you might have had about grammar, or even if you just wanted a few quick tips on warmers or revision. (Not that you'd need it as the resource room could keep anyone reading for weeks!) And there were regular input sessions to boot. I had a mixture of class sizes and student abilities, with lessons either in the school or in offices, all within easy walking distance. The school itself is small but it has everything you need from computers to the essential coffee and tea! There are restaurants nearby for lunch or you can just bring something in. Oh… and how could I forget the Spanish lessons and the empanada lady who visited every Wednesday morning. If you ever have the opportunity to go and teach in Quito I could think of no better place.” Catriona Young (UK)

“KLS is definitely the place to work. Pay is fair and on time, professional development is useful, coworkers are supportive … KLS is definitely the best place to work in Quito.” Janine Berger (Canada)

"Key Language is an excellent place to work. The directors are extremely helpful and supportive and the type of classes and students are varied so you never get bored. There are often new opportunities for teachers to try something different like teaching kids or teacher training and I'm always learning something new in the monthly professional development sessions."  Adam Chattington (UK)

“Professional, great fun and extremely supportive … the cliché of not mixing business with pleasure definitely does not apply here as the management can always be approached if you need professional advice but they can also plan fun out-of-work activities such as barbecues in the park. Definitely the best English school I have ever worked for (and, yes, I have worked in other schools and other countries!) …“ Lindsey Fielding (UK)
